The Cognitive Axon Lab

Welcome to the homepage of The Cognitive Axon (CoAx) Lab in the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition and Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University (beginning June of 2012).

Under the direction of Dr. Timothy Verstynen, the CoAx lab uses a combination of psychophysics, computational modeling and neuroimaging to explore how the architecture of brain connections and their dynamics regulate action planning and executive control.

News: The CoAx lab is now looking for a qualified post-doc and two research assistant positions.  See the full postings HERE for more details
